The 41st Annual Conference of the Federation of Cyprus Communities and Organisations of Australia and NZ will be held from 8 to 10 February in Perth.
The most important event of Cypriot Communities across Australia and NZ, where the leadership of the Communities from each state come together and discuss important issues concerning the Communities and Justice for Cyprus, the conference will be officially opened on Friday 8 February, and conclude at 5:00pm on Sunday 10 February.
The 41st Annual Conference is organised by Federation of Cyprus Communities of Australia and NZ, in conjunction with the P.A.S.E.K.A. Conference, The Pan Australian Co-ordinating Committee, Justice for Cyprus, and also the Annual Conference of NEPOMAK AUSTRALIA & NZ.
NEPOMAK has invited youth representatives from all Cypriot communities of Australia and New Zealand to attend and participate in their Annual Summit. This is an opportunity for the Cypriot youth of Australia and New Zealand to come together and discuss issues particular to the diaspora and to strengthen ties with other community groups that they may not usually have contact with.
The host of the Conference is the President Mr Demetris Demosthenous. His Excellency, the High Commissioner of Cyprus in Australia Mr Yiannis Iacovou will be honouring the conference with his presence and will officially open and address the Conference together with the General Consul, Mr Andreas Hatzithemistos.
The conference will commence on Friday 8 February, at 7:30pm, at The Hellenic Community Centre, 20 Parker Street, Northbridge, Western Australia, 6003.
