Today Tonight host Helen Kapalos was the guest of honour at Alphington Grammar’s Mother’s Day High Tea last week.
The popular host was inundated by young fans and wowed them with her trademark smile and secret titbits from behind the news desk.
More than 200 guests joined the event that included a special Mother’s Day photo booth and lots of gifts and prizes for the students to bring home to their mothers.
Principal Dr Vivianne Nikou said “Ms Kapalos… can inspire young people to follow their dreams, to have courage and to be resilient”.
All funds raised from the event were shared equally between Ms Kapalos’ charity, The Chase and Tyler Foundation, and the Breast Cancer Foundation.
