The wreath laying service and the ceremony to commemorate the Battle of Crete, will be held at the Cenotaph at Martin Place Saturday, at 1:45 pm.
The Governor of NSW and Premier of NSW will attend the ceremony organised by The Joint Commitee for the Commemoration of the Battle of Crete & The Greek Campaign, alongside with the visiting military officers from Greece and many other prominent politicians, amongst them Senator Arthur Sinodinos AO; military officers and members of the community.
The Battle of Crete and The Greek Campaign is the second and final ANZAC campaign.
The Joint Committee has invited members of community to show their support by attending the ceremony.
