Pronia is hosting on online Open Day for Wednesday, 9 September, in the form of a range of short webinars providing information for access to support services for vulnerable people in the community that are available during the COVID-19.
The organization provides care and support to people facing problems relating to, among other things, mental health issues, financial difficulties, family violence, social isolation and loneliness.
Pronia’s Marketing and Events Officer Sofia Tsimidopoulou said that the aim of the webinars was also to gauge which topics are of most interest to the participants. She said Pronia will then host more in-depth free information seminars that will reflect the needs expressed at the end of the open day.
The talks will be hosted through Zoom (links are available on the Pronia website) will begin at 10 am to finish at 3pm. Some of the key topics that the webinars will focus on include: Access and Support Casework; Family Violence; Exercise and Healthy Eating; CALD Social Inclusion and Community Particiaption; Building Resilience in a Crisis; Palliative Care; Elder Abuse; and Equal Opportunity Law LGBTI Inclusive Practice.
