Sydney Lord Mayor, Clover Moore, congratulated the Greek Orthodox Community on the delivery of a successful 2013 Greek Festival of Sydney.
A letter from the City of Sydney, addressed to GOC President Harry Danalis, congratulated on the growth and success of this year’s 31st Greek Festival of Sydney.
“The festival continues to be of great cultural and economic importance to the City and I commend the work the festival does in promoting an inclusive and multicultural society,” Sydney Lord Mayor, Clover Moore wrote in her letter.
“I am pleased the City is able to support the event though our Grants and Sponsorship Program. I wish you all the best in the planning of next year’s event,” she wrote.
Clover Moore is currently serving her third term as Lord Mayor of Sydney.
