The opening ceremony of the Sydney Youth Cup has been postponed today, Sunday due to heavy rainfall in the Sydney area.

The cup, hosted by Sydney club Belmore United brings together youth teams from Sydney and around Australia. Iconic Melbourne club South Melbourne is participating in the tournament for the first time this year.

Matches are expected to proceed as scheduled tomorrow, Monday 1 July 2013.
