The lecture The Ottoman Conquest of the Balkans and the Collection of Tribute Children will be given by Dr Adrian Jones as part of season two of Greek History and Culture Seminars 2013.
Dr Adrian Jones is Associate Professor at Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Latrobe university, Melbourne. His research interests include Historical Theory and Historiography, Ottoman History, Russian and Soviet History and The long Eighteenth Century in Europe.
The seminars are held by the Greek Orthodox Community of Melbourne and Victoria.
