The Greek Orthodox Community of Box Hill and surrounding areas can not be forgotten.
Once it was established in 1968, it did not only form a school in Box Hill but many across the surrounding areas. Today the school is run in the newly built community building at 86 Carrington Road in Box Hill, with the entrance on the side of the church with comfortable learning spaces and much more.
They are the only Greek school in Melbourne that offers Greek language, t-shirts with the community’s logo, text books and education that suits Australian students free of charge.
The school also organises all Greek cultural events for students to enjoy and they teach from grades prep to VCE.
