Australian actor, Vince Colosimo will be appearing in court in October to fight bankruptcy charges. Colosimo, famous for playing in the Wogboy and as Melbourne gangster Alphonse Gangitano in the Underbelly series is being sued by the Oakleigh firm, Dandanis & Associates for $36,000.
The documents allege Colosimo failed to comply with a court order in November 2011 to pay the sum.
The Age reports the firm issued Colosimo with a bankruptcy notice on May 22 this year, with the hearing scheduled to take place on October 1 in the Victorian Federal Court.
Colosimo is currently filming Fat Tony & Co, a series that focuses on the manhunt for convicted drug boss Tony Mokbel after he fled Melbourne for Greece.
