The lecture National Self-determination in the 21st Century: Implications for Greece and the Balkans will be given by Dr Aris Gounaris as part of season three (August – October 2013) of Greek History and Culture Seminars.
Aris Gounaris holds a PhD from La Trobe University, Melbourne. His doctoral dissertation in philosophy and history examines theories of secession and self-determination. Case studies include Kosovo, Chechnya and Aceh.
The seminars are held by the Greek Orthodox Community of Melbourne and Victoria.
