Greek tennis champ Maria Sakkari advanced to the quarters of the French Open tournament on Monday, after dumping last year’s French Open runner-up Sofia Kenin.
Her comfortable strait sets win 6-1, 6-3, against the fourth-seeded American now sets her up for a clash with either reigning champion Iga Swiatek or Ukrainian teenager Marta Kostyuk.

Sakkari broke Kenin, the 2020 Australian Open winner, six times as Kenin committed 32 unforced errors and served nine double faults.
