State Member for Perth, Ms Eleni Evangel MLA, is calling on the Perth community to get behind the best local businesses by nominating them for the 2014 Telstra Australian Business Awards.
For 22 years this prestigious national award program has celebrated the brilliance of Australia’s small and medium businesses, and helped entrepreneurs grow and establish sustainable and successful businesses.
“Small and medium businesses are at the heart of our community. Residents of the Perth electorate know this best, with small businesses contributing to the vibrancy and livelihood of our suburbs with major hubs within Leederville, Mount Hawthorn, Highgate and many more,” said Ms Evangel.
“The Telstra Australian Business Awards are an opportunity for us to thank them, celebrate their success and recognise the contribution they make to local jobs and commerce,” added Ms Evangel.
Every entrant will also receive a Business Health Check, a free 70-page report that evaluates individual businesses performance across seven areas against international benchmarks.
Nominations are now open, with entry submissions open from 3rd February to 31st March 2014.
The 2014 Telstra Australian Business Awards includes categories for Start-Up businesses, MicroBusinesses, Small Businesses, Medium Businesses and the most outstanding Regional business.
Winners of state and territory Awards go onto the national Telstra Australian Business Awards in Melbourne on 7th August 2014, with the overall Business of the Year from each state and territory in the running to be named the 2014 Telstra Australian Business of the Year.
