Melbourne’s young Greek Australian students created a beautiful festive atmosphere singing the traditional ‘kalanda’ (Christmas carols) for their parents, teachers and friends of the community.
Students of St Panteleimon Greek School in Dandenong and their teachers organised a touching feast with heartfelt performances to celebrate one of the toughest school years and welcome a more hopeful 2022.
As there wasn’t a proper Kalanta this year the students of St John’s College sung the carols for the Greek Community of Melbourne in an impressive video below.
Some of the students also prepared a video with a special Vasilopita recipe that you can watch here.
On a similar note, the Greek School of Box Hill also filmed a Christmas wishes video for the end of the year featuring several little students sending good vibes.
