A man has reportedly set himself alight in Richmond, Victoria while screaming his frustration over the vaccine mandates in Victoria.
According to witnesses the man emerged from a burning car on Church Street after having poured gas on himself.
Police and paramedics were immediately called to the scene and apprehended the man who has been hospitalised and is now fighting for his life.
A passerby woman who run to the man with water and asked not to be named, told the Herald Sun the man’s skin that was still on fire got stuck on her clothes while she was trying to help. burning until he was covered with water.
“His skin was burning, he was on fire. His skin is stuck to (my) shirt. ” the woman said, adding that “He was off his face screaming about the mandates”.
