The National Union of Greek Australia Students will be holding its annual general meeting on Monday, 9 May at 7pm at the Greek Centre Melbourne.
The meeting is offering university students the opportunity to join the dynamic team full of creative people, hoping to plan events and support young Greek-Australians across their studies and cultural ventures.
All eligible candidates must be a valid 2022 member of the university organisation in which they attend. If you are a member of an affiliate club (MUNGA, DUGS, MHSS, LUGS, RUSH, SHS), then you automatically have membership with NUGAS.
Alternatively if your tertiary institution does not have a NUGAS affiliate club, you can contact the current committee on social media for sign-up information.
All current 2022 NUGAS VIC members will have the right to vote.
The AGM will begin with a summary of NUGAS VIC’s year as an organisation, affiliate club reports and possible constitutional amendments.
Immediately after the AGM, the first meeting of the new committee will take place where by elections for the executive will be held among the new committee.
“This is an opportunity to meet and greet the outgoing committee members but also an opportunity to see what NUGAS VIC has been up to in the past year. Despite having a challenging term, our committee has achieved a lot in the past 12 months. We are looking forward to seeing you at our AGM. Let’s all celebrate the end of this term and the beginning of the new one. All friends and members of NUGAS are welcome,” NUGAS said in a statement.
