Greek Rugby League Australia (GRL) has put a call-out for new female players to join the club ahead of an international in Sydney on 4 February, 2023.
From this game, a number of players will be chosen to head over to Greece and join up with the domestic players to play in the 2025 Rugby League World Cup qualifiers.
According to GRL Manager Terry Liberopoulos, eligible female players should be either born in Greece or have at least one Greek parent or grandparent.
Another prerequisite is to currently be playing rugby league in Australia and be registered with an official club.
