Hundreds of Melbourne Greeks celebrated the new year at Nafpaktion House in Heatherton on Saturday night, organised by the Nafpaktian Association.

Amongst the guests were Greek Consul General Emmanuel Kakavalakis with his family, the president of South Melbourne FC, Bill Papastergiadis, vice president of the Greek Community of Melbourne and Victoria Nikos Koukouvitakis, member of the board Mihalis Karamitos, well known businessman Emmanuel Starakis and other dignatories.

The president of the Nafpaktian Association John (Yiannis) Zois and his colleagues worked hard to ensure guests had an enjoyable night to welcome in the new year.
