The pressure is all on AEK this weekend to claim the premiership against Volos in front of their home faithful as we wrap up one of the most competitive title races in years.

The Double-headed eagle of the South battles the Magnesia side at “Agia Sophia” Stadium on Monday morning (AEST) in the tenth and final round of the Greek Super League play-offs.

Enosi needs just one point to seal their 13th league championship with supporters expected to gather both inside and outside of their ground, ready to celebrate their triumph.

For Volos, a win would make them the ultimate villains and could prove fatal to AEK’s title success.

This is the miracle that Panathinaikos is desperately craving though, for it to matter, they will have to defeat Aris at “Leoforos” Stadium.

The “Trifylli” will have to treat this fixture as a must-win to ensure they did all they could to earn the premiership, however unlikely it might be.

Aris, on the other hand, will be keen to end their campaign on a high note with nothing left to play for, given they have already secured a European qualifying spot.

PAOK and Olympiacos are set for a huge clash at “Toumba” Stadium that could decide the fate of third position.

The Thessaloniki outfit needs to win by a margin of three goals to take third place from the Piraeus giants, with anything less guaranteeing the visitors finish in their existing spot.

However, the “black-whites” will be more concerned in building up their confidence for the Cup Final against AEK as, should they win, they will take the Europa League qualifying spot currently promised to third place.

Ionikos and Lamia go head-to-head in a tense relegation decider on Sunday morning in the seventh and final play-outs round.

The Nikaia outfit will hope that their home ground advantage can guide them towards victory which will be just enough to ensure their stay in the top fight.

The Fthiotida club will take confidence in knowing that a draw will be sufficient to stay in the league and send their opponents packing to the second division.

OFI travels away to face Panetolikos in a bid to finish top of the relegation group in seventh.

The Cretans’ only threat, Atromitos, plays Asteras Tripolis away and the Peristeriotes will do all they can to secure maximum points and potentially overtake OFI on the ladder.

Levadiakos hosts Giannina in their last match in the first division after being officially relegated last weekend, and the “blue-greens” will endeavour to give their fans one final win to close an otherwise disappointing season.
