Entrepreneur Effie Cinanni, founder and director of Small Chilli Marketing is a recipient of the 2023 Australian Achiever Awards, and the Victorian State winner in the category of advertising, marketing and public relations.

It is the second year that the Greek Australian Melbourne-based business has been recognised for customer services after receiving a Highly Recommended award in 2022.

“We are so delighted to be honoured with this award, it is a welcome surprise and it’s a true validation of our efforts to deliver outstanding service to our clients,” Cinanni stated after the Australian Achiever Awards unveiled their winners on May 10.

“I’d like to extend a huge congratulations to my team Tania Sernia and Laia Boukouvalas, for their outstanding efforts and of course to our wonderful clients and suppliers who rated our services so highly,”

These awards aim to provide businesses with a platform to be acknowledged for their dedication to customer service within Australia’s small and medium business landscape. The businesses are evaluated on eight key criteria, including time related services, addressing client needs, care and attention, value, attitude, communication, and overall perception.

Last year, Effie Cinanni was actively involved in the Victorian Multicultural Communities Leadership in Action program (women’s stream), where she made efforts to inspire women to embrace leadership positions and foster the growth of their own small businesses. Building upon this experience, she envisions utilizing the recognition from her recent award to elevate the brand of Small Chilli Marketing and extend their services to a broader clientele throughout Australia.

“My choice to become an entrepreneur and the founder of my own marketing agency was driven by a need to help other entrepreneurs and small business owners realise their dreams and go after the things that they are passionate about. Along the way I have realised that women are under-represented as business owners and entrepreneurs.”

She adds that she is particularly interested in supporting fellow Greek-Australian women and females from multicultural and migrant backgrounds, hoping to inspire them to take a leap of faith and chase their dreams. Whether that be in business, higher education or any other facet of their lives.

“This award is an important marketing lever that helps build Small Chilli Marketing’s credibility and our brand and we look forward to helping even more Australian businesses and female business owners to achieve their sales and marketing goals in the future.”Small Chili Marketing provide special services for small to medium businesses.
