The Greek Australian Cultural League presents its 13th annual group art exhibition at Carlton’s Steps Gallery on Saturday, 5 August.
The 13th “Antipodean Palette,” features a diverse collection of artistic creations by artists of Greek descent or with connections to the Greek Australian community.
After the challenges of the past three years, during which the exhibition was held online and in outdoor venues due to COVID restrictions, this year’s theme is “After the Isolation,” celebrating the return to in-person showcasing.
Among the esteemed guests will be the Consul General of Greece, Emmanuel Kakavelakis, and esteemed Philhellene artist Michael Winters, who will inaugurate the exhibition.
GACL’s Poetry Afternoon will take place on Sunday, August 13, at 2pm.
The exhibition will be open to the public from August 3 to August 13 while the official opening ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, August 5, at 2.30pm.
Opening hours: Weekdays 10am– 4pm (closed on Monday), weekends 11am – 3pm
Where: Steps Gallery, 62 Lygon Street, Carlton, VIC
