Adrian Collette AM, the Chief Executive Officer of the upcoming Creative Australia, extended a warm welcome to the recent appointments unveiled by Minister for the Arts, Tony Burke, on Thursday. These appointments mark the expansion of the Australia Council Board of Creative Australia.

Among these appointments stands Alexandra Dimos, a prominent figure in South Australia.

Dimos currently holds the position of Executive Director at the Advertiser Foundation and established the Nunn Dimos Foundation in 2017, followed by the South Australian Women’s Fund in 2021.

Hailing from Melbourne, Australia, Dimos completed her education with Honours in Geological Engineering in 1992. Her professional journey commenced in the environmental sector, specialising in hydrogeology.

Dimos is a dedicated volunteer for charitable organisations. Her involvement spans multiple philanthropic causes, and she actively contributes to boards and advisory committees, within the arts sector. She holds positions on the State Theatre Company of SA Foundation and the Foundation Adelaide Festival boards.

All the new appointments will officially take effect on August 24, 2023.
