In an effort to shed light on the often-overlooked connection between hearing health and cognitive well-being, the Food For Thought Network (FFTN) and the Greek Community of Melbourne (GCM) are joining forces to host an exclusive health education event.

Titled ‘Health Education – Hearing and Brain Health’, this enlightening seminar is set to take place on Sunday, September 24 at the Mezzanine Floor of the Greek Community of Melbourne.

The event, scheduled during Dementia Action Week, aims to educate attendees on the intricate relationship between auditory senses and brain function.

By highlighting the connection between hearing health and brain function, this event aims to empower individuals to take control of their health.

Keynote speaker Jeffrey Pang, a Master of Audiology and University of Melbourne alumnus, will take center stage to lead the discussion.

Pang’s presentation will explore the profound impact of hearing health on cognitive vitality. He will delve into the science behind the connection and share insights on how managing hearing health can positively influence overall brain function.

Following the presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a dynamic 30-minute question and answer session with Pang.

This interactive segment allows individuals to seek expert advice and gain clarity on how hearing health directly influences cognitive well-being.

As a gesture of appreciation for attendees’ commitment to education and well-being, each participant will receive a complimentary copy of ‘Hearing & Brain Health’ by Andrew Campbell, provided by ‘NueAudio Hearing and Brain Health.’
