The Greek Orthodox Community of South Australia (GOCSA) has announced Con Dalagiorgos as its new General Manager (GM) of Community and Corporate Services.
Mr Dalagiorgos will take over the role from December 4, replacing the outgoing Nick Kyriazopoulos whom GOCSA President Peter Gardiakos thanked for his 15 years of service to the community in this position.
Mr Gardiakos expressed excitement over Mr Dalagiorgos as he comes into this post.
“We look forward to welcoming Con to our organisation and leveraging his decades of executive leadership, unique experience working with South Australia’s Greek and the broader community, and extensive knowledge of building strong, collaborative organisational cultures to improve performance,” the GOCSA President said.
Mr Gardiakos followed this by stating the organisation’s goal in increasing its relevance in the community, aiming to engage the youth and become more active within the multicultural community of South Australia.

Mr Dalagiorgos comes into the role with extensive business experience spanning over 30 years wherein he has administered and performed in business development roles and compliance with a keen understanding of quality standard principles.
The new GM of Community and Corporate Services will focus on building a stronger community and on creating and implementing strategies that govern the day-to-day operations of GOCSA.
This is aimed at ensuring effective and efficient systems and better management of the organisation’s resources, while Mr Dalagiorgos will also be instrumental in assisting with the delivery of the association’s long-term strategic plan.
“I am very excited to be joining the Greek Orthodox Community of South Australia and having the opportunity to work with a fabulous group of staff and community members,” the GM of Community and Corporate Services said.
“I look forward to working closely with the Administrative Council in their quest to bring their vision and goals to reality.”
Mr Dalagiorgos closed with a message stressing the importance of unity as the association moves forward and strives to maintain its relevance in the Hellenic community as well as the wider public of South Australia.
“What we do as a collective will help to shape the future of our Greek Community for generations to come. For this, it is so important we all join as one and advance in strength,” he said.
