Oakleigh Grammar has announced its high achievers of the graduating Class of 2023.

The School Dux for the year is Noah Peoples, boasting an impressive ATAR of 98.90. Noah’s outstanding VCE Study Scores include achievements above 40 in English, Biology, and Mathematical Methods. With aspirations to pursue a Medicine Degree at Monash University, Noah’s academic prowess is commendable.

Following closely, the Dux Proximus is Aaron Neild, securing an ATAR of 95.2.

“His future plans involve undertaking a Science Degree, specializing in Physics at the University of Melbourne.”

Among the distinguished high achievers is Greek Australian Vice Captain Arthur Demetriou, who achieved an excellent ATAR of 90.85.

“Demonstrating remarkable grit and determination in the face of challenges posed by Cerebral Palsy, Arthur plans to embark on a double degree in Bio-Medicine and Science at Monash University.” Principal Mark Robertson said in the announcement.

Other standout Greek Australian graduates include Anastasia K with an ATAR of 86.05, with ambitions to pursue Law at Deakin University.

“Congratulations extend to the entire Class of 2023, with seven percent of graduates receiving ATARs placing them in the top 10% of the country, and an impressive 29 per cent achieving an ATAR of 80 and above. Principal Mark Robertson also expressed his delight, stating, “I commend them for living the 2023 School theme to ‘Make a positive impact.’ Our students demonstrated resilience and a mindset to give their best across all learning areas.” He also acknowledged the efforts of past and present teachers who have contributed to the graduates’ development over the past 13 years.

As Oakleigh Grammar looks forward, Principal Robertson concluded, “We are exceedingly proud of each and every one of our 2023 graduates and wish them well for whatever lies ahead in the next part of their life’s journey.”
