MySat, the television platform that offers channels and programming in Greek, Arabic, and Italian, alongside On Demand TV channels has encountered a significant technical disruption across its entire channel lineup due to solar interference.
The company said in a statement that solar interference is a natural phenomenon beyond its control. A spokesperson from MySat said it is unclear how long it will take to fix the technical issue.
The spokesperson said that subscribers may encounter signal disruptions owing to the solar interference. The MySat representative said,
“Solar interference is unavoidable, but we anticipate a return to normal viewing experiences for our subscribers as soon as possible.”
MySat expressed regret for any inconvenience caused, and extended gratitude to its subscribers for their patience and understanding during this period of disruption.
Notably, a considerable portion of the Greek Australian community relies on MySat for access to a wide range of programs from Greece, encompassing entertainment, news, and current affairs.
