Airing on C31 Television, NEMBC MEDIA’s awarded Multicultural AFL/AFLW Footy Panel Show is back for its seventh consecutive year featuring weekly AFL Diversity newscasts, podcasts on the Community Radio Network, and multilingual broadcasts on the live AFL App.

The 30-minute TV program will cover the 2024 AFL and AFLW seasons, starting this week in Melbourne and Geelong on C31 TV (DVB 44) Thursday evenings at 7pm.

It will also screen on C44 TV in Adelaide on Friday evenings and nationally through CTVplus and other digital platforms on demand.

“In our 7th year, we’re featuring an all-female anchored AFLW TV panel to highlight our diversity and inclusion policy,” said Fiv Antoniou, NEMBC’s Producer/Director expressing gratitude to the AFL/AFLW and CBF for their continuous support over the past seven years.

NEMBC MEDIA’s AFL/AFLW programs and live broadcasts have a combined national audience of over 760,000 multicultural/ethnic and inclusive community viewers per week. The broadcasts are also popular abroad, with the Australian Football Association of North America (AFANA.com) receiving 1.78 million hits last season, including fans from Argentina, Mexico, Cuba, the Philippines, and Europe.

The regular AFL panel, consisting of George Grosios, Vanessa Gatica, Ragbir Ghuman, Liz Honey, Harbir Singh Kang, and new panellist Max Hatzoglou, along with Fouad Andrawos and Maximo Perez, will cover both competitions over 40 weeks.

The AFL/AFLW Diversity news and live matchday broadcasts will now be available in 10 languages, including Greek and two new languages, Fijian and Punjabi.

The NEMBC plans to broadcast over 40 live AFL/AFLW matches this year on the AFL app.

The in-house sports broadcast training program has attracted broadcaster crews from interstate, including Arabic and Italian from Adelaide, Fijian from Sydney, and Spanish from Brisbane.
