This will be Mitsotakis’s first visit to Poland since 2011 where on Friday he will meet with his Polish counterpart Donald Tusk.

It is expected that all issues of European interest will be discussed, regional and international, with a focus on the latest developments in Ukraine and the Middle East.

According to AMNA, government sources report that the two leaders – the two most powerful of the EPP at the moment – will privately meet to discuss issues concerning the strategy of the European People’s Party in the run-up to the European elections, as well as the next day for Europe.

Mitsotakis also met with the Prime Minister of Montenegro Milojko Spajić, where they discussed the strengthening of bilateral relations in the field of economy and investments.
