State League 1 Northwest group

Petros Skapetis, a striker for the Western Suburbs, had an exceptional performance in the civil battle against Clifton Hill and secured a hat-trick, helping his team emerge as the winners with a score of 3-1. This weekend, both teams will face challenging opponents in their home games. Upfield will be hosted by Western Suburbs on Saturday afternoon at 3pm, while Westgate will be taken on by Clifton Hill at the same time.

Yarraville Glory has finally quenched their thirst for triumph. The Greek Australian side put on a dazzling show, burying Upfield with a final score of 3-1. Next up, the crew from the western suburbs of Melbourne will lock horns with the mighty Brimbank Stallions – let the games begin!

State League 1 Southeast Group

Springvale’s flying squad, the unstoppable Aris , put on quite a show in their latest matchup against the Casey Comets. With a smashing score of 4-0, it was clear the “yellow and black” team was on top. The devoted Aris fanbase turned the game into a lively celebration, dedicating their Saturday afternoon to their beloved footballers. As they gear up to face Mazenod this weekend, the only thing on their mind is securing another win and climbing up the ranks in the Southeast division.

Malvern suffered a tragic loss to Old Scotch this past weekend. Despite the valiant efforts of the Greek Australian team, they were unable to emerge victorious and departed the pitch with a disappointing 2-1 score. Sadly, Malvern’s current ranking of eighth in the table with three losses and just one win does not bode well for their upcoming match against the fierce local squad from Mornington.

State League 2 Northwest group

In the battle of Altona East Phoenix and Westvale Olympic, it was clear who the real champion was. The blue and white knights of Westvale triumphed with an impressive 5-0 victory, while Altona East crumbled under their relentless attacks. Up next, the victorious Westvale will welcome Keilor Park, while Altona East heads out for an adventure in Geelong to take on the local Rangers.

Last Saturday, Lalor United, defeated Mill Park in their home. The guests clinched a 3-1 victory. Mill Park, who will be hosting Uni Hill next weekend, is determined to win and improve their position in the standings.

State League 2 Southeast Group

The Bayside Argonauts sailed their way to yet another away win over the weekend, effortlessly dominating Skye United on their own turf with a victorious score of 3-1. Next up, they’ll be rolling out the red carpet for the Doncaster Rangers.

Last Friday, Bentleigh United Cobras, suffered a loss in their away game against Berwick City. The final score was 2-0. This weekend, the Cobras will host group leaders Hampton East Brighton in a highly anticipated match, which is considered a local derby. Interestingly, the two teams’ home fields are just under 700 meters apart.

This week, Chisholm will try to improve their standing. After drawing 1-1 against Peninsula Strikers last week, the Greek Australian team will face Knox City with the objective of securing a victory. If they are able to achieve this, it will mark Chisholm’s first win of the season. Let’s hope they are successful.

State League 4 North group

Darebin United emerged victorious in the derby against West Preston with a 3-0 win. As for this week, the confident Darebin squad will face off against the Plenty Valley Lions, while West Preston will host Moreland United.

State League 4 East group

Three cheers for the Waverley Wanderers! The fierce “yellow and black” squad took down Riversdale in a 3-2 match, and now they’re ready to conquer Manningham Juventus to maintain their domination of the standings.

State League 5 East group

Looks like East Kew’s Olympiacos is on fire! The “red and white” crew crushed it at Old St Kevins with a 1-3 score, snagging a sweet spot in second place. And they’re not done yet – Old Melbournians better watch out this weekend as East Kew plays host.

State League 5 North group

Keon Park tore up the field last week against the Mitchell Rangers. The two headed eagle was unstoppable and left the game victorious with a 3-1 score. This week, the “yellow and black” are hitting the road to take on Roxburgh Park United.
