The Kytherian Association of Australia is preparing to host their annual Debutante Ball later this month in what will be the latest edition of a long and proud tradition of the organisation.
The event is scheduled for Saturday 18 May at 7pm and will be held at Royal Randwick Racecourse in Sydney.
The Ball harkens back to the old English tradition of “formally introducing” young girls into society, with the Kytherian Association having incorporated it with their own youth.
The Ball will also feature the standard Guest of Honour, this year’s being Anais Menounos.
It will consist of a sit-down three course meal with the debutantes and their selected partners to take part in a number of dances throughout the evening.
The event is notable as a fundraising initiative for charity, with all funds raised donated elsewhere, further showcasing the goodwill that is intended by the Ball.
