A few days ago, the Greek Ambassador to Australia, Stavros Venizelos, met with members of the Greece-Australia Parliamentary Friendship Group, chaired by Greek-Australian Labor MP Steve Georganas, in Canberra.
In addition to Georganas, the meeting was attended by fellow Greek-Australian Labor MP Maria Vamvakinou, as well as MPs Michael McCormick and Luke Gosling.
During the meeting, which also saw the participation of prominent Canberra Greek community leader Yiannis Loukadelis, discussions focused on Greece-Australia relations and issues concerning the Greek community in Australia.
