The Greek Australian Cultural League is set to display the work of practising Hellenic artists in its annual group art exhibition, “Antipodean Palette”.

The 14th edition of the exhibition will be held at Steps Gallery from 11-21 July, showcasing a variety of artworks including paintings, illustrations, mixed media, 3D installations, collage and digital art.

The collection will have its official opening ceremony at 2.30pm on Saturday 13 July, with an afternoon of bilingual poetry readings also organised for Saturday 20 July at 1.30pm.

The administrative committee of GACL expressed their excitement for the exhibition which “marks 14 years of on-going support for the visual arts in our community”.

“We extend to the broader community the invitation to join us in the celebration of the arts in our community,” the administrative committee of GACL said.

Among the participating artists for this year are: Basil Psanoudakis, Marie Petridis, Rosemary Lugg, Michael Christofas, Tracey Yannopoulos, Agi Argyropoulos, Michael Winters, Constantinos Emmanuelle, Paul Laspagis, Ivy Cafici, Olga Antoniadis, Emily Karanikolopoulos, George Athanasiou, Stephanie Dellaportas, Sophia Xeros-Constantinides, Stella Dimadis and James Pasakos.

The free exhibition will be available for viewing 10am-4pm on weekdays and 11am-3pm on weekends.
