The Greek Community of Dandenong, St. Panteleimon, which this year celebrates 65 years since its founding, began events to remember tragic 50th anniversary of the Turkish invasion and occupation of Cyprus.

On Sunday, 14 July, after the Divine Liturgy, where the bishop of Cypriot origin, Mr Kyriakou, presided, a memorial service followed for the 50th anniversary of the Turkish invasion of Cyprus and in memory of the fallen.
