At least nine Greek Australians have been recognised for their achievements in the annual Premier’s VCE Awards.
At the award presentation ceremony held on July 17, a total of 332 awards, including 23 Top All-Round VCE High Achiever Awards, recognised the dedication and hard work of 310 students during the 2023 VCE.
More than 1000 guests attended the ceremony, where Victoria’s top-performing 2023 VCE students were recognised for their outstanding academic results.
Zachary Miritis from Balwyn High School and Jack Voulgaris from Marcellin College both received the Top All-Round VCE High Achievers 2023 award for achieving study scores of 46 or higher in at least five VCE studies.
Perfect ATARs and College Duxes, students of Greek heritage aim and achieve big
The two received an ATAR last year of 99.85 and 99.95 respectively. Jack was one of 39 students to achieve a perfect score.
The following seven students all scored a 46 or above in their respective subjects and were presented with Study Awards.
