The Hellenic Medical Society of Australia (HMSA) and the Greek Community of Melbourne (GCM) team up to host a Careers Day that aims to bring the community together and offer a valuable experience.

The event, set to take place on Saturday, September 7 at The Greek Centre, features over 30 Greek-Australian professionals from more than 20 different industries.

It will offer students in Years 10 through 12 a chance to meet top professionals, explore different career paths, and learn how these experts incorporate their Greek heritage into their work.

The HMSA has launched a “Learn More About the Professionals” section on their website. They also share “Meet the Speakers” posts twice a week on their social media pages, introducing a diverse group of successful Greek-Australian scientists and other professionals.

Attendees will benefit from panel discussions, interactive ‘break-out’ sessions, and expo-style networking. Each student is also welcome to bring one parent to the event.

Distinguished professionals from various fields will be there to share their knowledge and offer guidance on potential career paths.
