Aegean Airlines has suspended all flights to and from Tel Aviv as well as from Beirut in response to the escalating tensions in the Middle East.

The suspension has seen flights cancelled to and from Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion International Airport until Tuesday, as well as Beirut’s Rafic Hariri International Airport until Thursday.

The airline stressed that passengers with affected bookings can change or cancel their tickets free of charge by contacting them or visiting its website.

The recent tensions have led several airlines to stay away from Iranian and Lebanese airspace and cancel flights to Israel and Lebanon.

KLM decided from last Friday to suspend flights to Tel Aviv until October 26, while other airlines like including Air India, Lufthansa, United Airlines, Delta Air Lines and ITA Airways have also stopped flights to the city.
