Thousands of people died after Nepal was hit by a 7,9 magnitude earthquake which triggered a catastrophic avalanche on mount Everest.
Tremors are constantly terrorising Northern India, as the number of dead and injured is on the rise.
Nepalese authorities have counted more than 1800 lives claimed by the 30” quake that slammed the capital of Kathmandu.
Amongst the missing were reportedly 66 Australians, including a 23-year-old Greek Australian man from Adelaide, Jamie Nikou.
The number of Australians that have been listed as missing by relatives on The Red Cross’s Family Links website is rising.
Zachary Sheridan, actor Hugh Sheridan’s younger brother is also missing. The star was one of the first who took to the social media to report their missing family members.
Photo journalist Athena Zelandonii who had been in Nepal since early April, is also listed on the website.
The catastrophe caused many buildings to crumble, trapping hundreds of people.
The hospitals are out of space while Nepal reaches out for help from neighbouring countries.
The capital has been flattened and its infrastructure has been destroyed.
Nepal is in urgent need, as communications and power supplies are down, too.
Meanwhile, India and China are also counting dead and injured.
