The Modern Greek Teachers Association of Victoria invites students in grades 3-6 to participate in the 2024 Greek Immersion Day, a cultural celebration designed to enrich students’ understanding of Greek heritage.
The event will take place on September 2 at Oakleigh Grammar from 10am to 2pm and will offer a variety of engaging activities aimed at immersing children in Greek culture.
The day’s program includes live performances by a musician, traditional Greek dancing lessons, interactive drama sessions, and a demonstration by a pastry chef, among many other exciting activities.
Families are encouraged to register their children for the event. Parents can enjoy a designated café space to socialize with other families and are welcome to bring picnic baskets for a shared lunch with their children.
