The needs of the elderly in aged care are set to be the subject of a series of discussions held by Fronditha Care, with the community being encouraged to give their thoughts on the priorities for people of Greek background.

Fronditha Care, in collaboration with the Aged Care Research & Industry Innovation Australia (ARIIA), is seeking to develop a greater understanding for how to best cater to the needs of Greek-background elderly.

A number of discussions have been organised throughout the month of October as they look to gain insights from the community to help shape their current and future services in the best way possible to support our elderly.

The feedback will take the form of a discussion, a focus group (up to one hour) and/or a personal interview (up to 30 minutes) conducted by ARIIA.

The events, as part of the research project, will be hosted at various community sites around Melbourne, Adelaide and online.

Online discussions have been scheduled for Tuesday 15 October at 7.30pm, Saturday 19 October 2.30pm, Tuesday 22 October at 1pm, and Thursday 24 October at 7.30pm.

Fronditha Care stated that participants can register their interest through the following link, which also contains further information on the project.
