South Melbourne FC have announced that Sophie Papatsanis has re-committed to the blue and white for season 2025.
The news comes on the player’s birthday, as Papatsanis will enter her seventh season in the senior setup, having come up through the youth ranks.
“Sophie is a lifelong South person who truly embodies the spirit of the club,” SMFC said on social media.
“Her passion and dedication have been invaluable, and we’re excited to have “Papa” back, ready to fire again in blue and white for another year.”
The club also wished her a happy birthday.
