That’s right, the top player and fan favorite has officially signed a contract extension, much to the delight of the club’s loyal followers. You can practically hear the collective cheers and see the ear-to-ear grins plastered on their faces. And who could blame them? With Mikkola’s impressive skills and unwavering dedication to the team, the Greek Australian club has hit the jackpot.
The club took to their virtual megaphone (social media) to declare the extension of the contract.
“We are pleased to announce the re-signing of Max Mikkola for the 2024 NPL Victoria season.
Max has scored on 16 occasions in the league across two seasons at Lakeside and has created assisted numerous other opportunities for his teammates. He is an integral part of the squad and someone who was a big part of the club’s strong winning ratio as one of the more dangerous attacking midfielders in the competition.
We’re looking forward to having him back at Lakeside in 2024.”
