As Year 12 students across Victoria prepare for their final exams, Alphington Grammar School celebrated the end of secondary education.
The graduating class of 2024 commemorated their achievements with a formal dinner dance and presentations at Leonda by the Yarra, surrounded by their families.
The evening highlighted the accomplishments of School Captains Anastasia Fokianos and Pantelli Saris, School Vice-Captain Blake Taylor, and Valedictorian Joudy Sallam.

The students expressed gratitude for the support of their teachers and families, many of whom were in attendance.
“The night was a culmination of years of perseverance, growth, and lifelong friendships forged,” Principal Dr Vivianne Nikou said in a press release sent to Neos Kosmos.
“We look on with pride to see our students celebrate in such a respectful way, using their imagination and creativity to mark the end of this phase of their lives. To students everywhere, we wish them well for all that lies ahead.”

Both the Principal and Chair of School Council Michael Karamitos addressed the attendees, while the Class of 2024 reminisced through a heartfelt video about their shared experiences.

The celebration continued with music provided by DJ Thomas Nico, accompanied by Alphington Grammar student James Fokianos on the bouzouki, and lively dancing.

The festivities didn’t end there however, as the following morning, students gathered for a celebratory breakfast featuring karaoke and theme park activities organised by student leaders.
