The 12th Greek Student Short Film Festival of Sydney proved to be another highlight of the broader Greek Film Festival, with numerous students showcasing their works on the big screen in a fitting celebration of creativity and passion for the Greek language.
The event, organised by the Greek Orthodox Community of NSW and presented by Metaxa and Geocorp Finance, took centre stage at Palace Cinemas in Leichhardt on Sunday afternoon (27 October) as they screened ten short films made by the students.
The screening capped off a stellar effort from the kids as well as teachers, parents and grandparents that helped them in the making of the short films.

The youngsters were recognised with awards designated within the two categories (Primary and Secondary), with the GOC of NSW and Geocorp Finance contributing the funds to celebrate the prize-winning entries.
