All Saints Grammar’s Year 12 graduates combined strongly to record stellar results in the 2024 HSC, headlined by two students finishing as Top Achievers in Modern Greek Extension.

The school’s graduates performed very well in the HSC, with Vasileios Manis notably finishing First in Course for Modern Greek Extension while Leah Katsaros finished close behind in fourth.

All Saints Grammar’s top ATAR ranking was 96.80, which was achieved by George Galanos-Stellios.

The school had 15 students listed as 2024 Distinguished Achievers, scoring Band 6 in a subject, across 16 subjects and representing 48% of the HSC cohort, with 24 per cent of the cohort achieving an ATAR rank of 90 or above.

Over 90 per cent of their students have been offered early entry into university courses.

Student Georgia Betihavas also stood out for a stellar HSC result, being named a Distinguished Achiever for Business Studies, Mathematics Advanced and Design and Technology.

She also was nominated to have her Design and Technology major work ‘Aussie Resilient Home’ exhibited at Shape 2024, an exhibition of outstanding Major Projects developed by HSC Design and Technology, Industrial Technology and Textiles and Design students.

Andrea Mavrommatis, who achieved Band 6 results in Legal Studies and Mathematics Standard 2, urged the importance of collaboration to next year’s HSC cohort.

“To collaborate with classmates by sharing notes, essay plans and resources to slim down the work load and to help each other,” Andrea said in the school’s media release when asked what advice she would give to future students.

Head of School Elfa Lillis expressed her delight with the achievements of their graduating students.

“These amazing results tell only part of the story and we should not judge our students by these results alone, but also by the loving, caring and service-oriented adults they have become,” Lillis said.

“We have every confidence that they will transition to the next phase of their lives with self-assurance, hardiness, and creativity, with the courage to face new challenges and defend what is just.”

The Head of School stated she wishes the students the very best as they enter the next stage of their lives.
