The Cyprus Festival is back in Adelaide this weekend, marking a decade of South Australia’s most vibrant celebration of Cypriot heritage.
Organised by the Cyprus Community of South Australia Inc, it’s a weekend of music, food, dance and culture.
Over the years the festival has been embraced by not only Hellenics but the wider SA community, attracted thousands every year.
The festival will showcase a full program of entertainment for all ages, featuring local talent and international acts, with food and activities for the kids.

Stephanos Pelekanis & Christos Sikkis direct from Cyprus will perform traditional Cypriot classics with an ensemble of musicians from Cyprus including violin, laouto, lavta and pithkiavli (Cypriot flute).
Band Kosmos will be joined by percussionist Giorgos Moutzouris, with Stassi & Joanna performing classics and all the contemporary hits and beyond.
The Master of Ceremonies will be Kefi Krew DJ Valandi, also on the deck with DJ Kosta.
Adelaide dance groups will perform traditional and contemporary dances from across Cyprus and Greece.

Former premier Mike Rann will also be honoured for his significant contributions to the Cyprus community and his advocacy for Cyprus during his political career.
Food available include sheftalia, halloumi, koupes, sweet treats like mahalepi and traditional Cypriot coffee or a frappe.
There will also be a cultural exhibit presented by the Ladies Auxiliary, featuring traditional Cypriot costumes, handcrafted clay works and historic photos that tell the story of Cyprus and its people.
