The hype for the Australian premiere of ‘Stelios’ is ever growing with the Greek Festival of Sydney announcing additional screenings to meet the huge demand for the picture.

The biographical film about legendary Greek singer Stelios Kazantzidis is set to head to Australia this coming April with Palace Cinemas showing it at their Moore Park and Norton Street locations.

The biopic, directed by Yorgos Tsemperopoulos, was originally scheduled for 23 April at Moore Park, with it selling out in record time and prompting the move to book additional screenings.

The Greek Festival of Sydney confirmed in an announcement that further sessions have now been organised for 24 April at Norton Street to give further opportunity for eager attendees to watch the picture.

The film has been received very well critically, with many praising its storytelling and the performances.

The picture is being presented in collaboration with Tanweer, the Greek Film Festival and Palace Cinemas.
