Foreign Affairs Minister Penny Wong and Assistant Minister for Health and Aged Care Ged Kearney visited Fronditha Care’s Thornbury facility, where they were welcomed by President Kostas Livadaras, Secretary Jim Babalis, and CEO Faye Spiteri OAM.
The Ministers toured the aged care facility, engaging with residents and staff, who were thrilled to meet them and capture the moment with photos. It was Minister Wong’s first visit to Fronditha Care, and she expressed admiration for the organisation’s warm atmosphere and strong sense of community.

During discussions, Fronditha Care’s leadership thanked the Ministers for their commitment to aged care reforms and highlighted the work of the Fronditha Care Foundation. They shared insights into shaping culturally diverse aged care services and proposed a roadmap for the sector’s future.
