The stellar results of Sydney’s HSC students of Modern and Classical Greek were the source of celebration this past weekend as they were honoured among friends, family and special guests at the Dionysios Solomos Awards Ceremony.

The annual event was held on Sunday (9 March) at the MacLaurin Hall of the University of Sydney as part of the Greek Festival of Sydney, recognising the highest-achieving Modern and Classical Greek HSC students in 2024.

The awards ceremony, organised by the Greek Orthodox Community of NSW, featured a number of speeches in addition to its awards presentations from numerous notable guests.
