The registration deadline for the examinations for the 2025 Certificate of Attainment in Greek language has been extended with applications now accepted until 28 March.

The registration period has been extended, affording extra time for interested participants to apply for the exams.

The A1 level is available to all candidates who have reached the age of 8 by 31 May of this year and not gone over 12 years old by the same date.

Applicants over 12 years old on 31 May are eligible to sit the A1 level exams for adolescents/adults.

There are no age restrictions for all other levels, though it is recommended that candidates under the age of 16 should not seek to sit the B2, C1 and C2 level examinations, as the content of the examination questions requires knowledge and experience that younger candidates do not possess.

The examinations for the 2025 Certificate of Attainment in Greek language will take place at the Greek Community of Melbourne, Examination Centre of Melbourne.

The A1 and A2 exams will be held on 20 May, with B2 and C1 taking place on 21 May and B1 and C2 on 22 May.

Applicants will be notified of the exact time and location of their examinations after the registration process is complete.

The Levels A1, A2 and B1 exams come at a cost of 155 AUD each, while B2, C1 and C2 exams are 170 AUD each.

Interested participants must complete the payment process by depositing fees into the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.

When making the payment, participants must include “GLC” followed by the candidate’s full name as the reference (e.g. GLC-John Pappas).

Candidates are asked to retain proof of deposit until confirmation of enrolment is received.
