AEK is in store for a season-defining clash against Olympiacos with victory essential to get them back in sight of second place.

Enosi travels away to face the Piraeus giants at “Georgios Karaiskakis” Stadium on Monday morning (AEST) in the third round of the Greek Super League’s play-offs, and three points are vital to both teams.

AEK is in dire need of a jumpstart after back-to-back losses have seen them concede a lot of ground in the fight for second, with victory over Olympiacos a great way to get them back on the right track.

For the “red-whites”, victory would mathematically secure them of the league title which they would no doubt love to do in front of their home fans.

Panathinaikos hosts PAOK at the Olympic Stadium in an epic clash that could help either side pull ahead in the race for second.

The Greens currently stand one point ahead of the Thessaloniki side, and so a win would give them a very handy four-point lead to create distance between the two clubs.

Aris takes on Atromitos in an important clash that could strengthen their case for fifth.

A win for the “yellow-blacks” would extend their lead over the Peristeriotes to nine points, effectively eliminating them Athenian outfit from contention for fifth place (the position expected to provide a European qualifying round spot for next season).

OFI goes away against Asteras Tripolis in the other game in the fifth-eighth play-offs on Sunday morning, with the Cretans looking to end the Arcadians’ chances of finishing top of their group.

Lamia competes with Panetolikos away in the third round of the relegation play-outs, and the Fthiotida side desperately needs a win to stand any chance of staying in the top division.

Kallithea travels to play Panserraikos as they look to consolidate their place just above the relegation zone.

Levadiakos challenges Volos away in a bid to win their third straight game, while the Magnesia club is fighting to escape from the bottom two after falling into the relegation spots last matchday.
