Clifton Hill played their final home match of the season at Quarries Park, drawing 1-1 with Upfield. The historic venue is set for a major overhaul ahead of 2026, with new facilities expected to be ready by December 2025. Club president Michael Tyrikos praised the fans and community for their unwavering support throughout the campaign.
Yarraville also battled to a 1-1 draw against Corio. Doxa will look to grab three points when they welcome Westgate this weekend.
State League 1 – South-East
Malvern City were unstoppable last weekend, thrashing Hampton East Brighton 5-0 to climb to the top of the ladder. The Greek Australian side’s ruthless display sent a clear message to their rivals. This Saturday, they host Old Scotch, aiming to cement their position at the summit.
Bayside Argonauts moved into second place after hammering Doveton 4-0. The Argonauts face a stern test this week, travelling to Beaumaris. Meanwhile, South Springvale’s Aris fell 3-2 to Beaumaris, slipping to fourth. The “God of War” will look to bounce back against Mornington on Saturday.

State League 2 – North-West
Mill Park’s “Pigeons” were in scintillating form, dismantling Geelong Rangers 3-0 to climb to sixth. This week, they face another away challenge against Craigieburn City. Altona East Phoenix kept their promotion push alive with a gritty 1-0 win over Western Eagles. The “Dikefalos” remains second, hot on the heels of leaders Lalor United, and will travel to Strathmore this Friday.
State League 2 – South-East
It was a tough weekend for the Greek Australian sides in this group. Chisholm United fell 3-1 to Noble Park, while Bentleigh United Cobras lost 1-0 at home to Knox City. Both sides will look to rebound on Saturday, with Chisholm hosting Knox City and the Cobras facing Casey Comets.
State League 3 – South-East
Waverley Wanderers delivered another masterclass, brushing aside Greater Dandenong 3-0 to stay within touching distance of leaders Dandenong South. The “Yellow and Black” host White Star Dandenong this weekend, aiming to keep the pressure on.

East Kew made light work of Monbulk Rangers, cruising to a 3-0 win at Willsmere Park. The “Red and White” faithful left the ground buzzing with optimism. This Saturday, the Olympiakos side welcome Monash City Villareal.

Keon Park’s AEK continue their relentless march towards promotion, edging out Moonee Ponds 1-0 to stay top of the ladder. “Dikefalos” face Melbourne University this weekend.
